Fall Vacations in Canada

Fall in Canada is full of rich colours and crisp air, summer is over and a new season has begun. And what better way to explore this vast and beautiful country than to hike trails or go on road trips. From the east coast all the way to the west coast there’s spectacular views leaving you with unforgettable memories.

Nova Scotia 

Cap Breton, Nova Scotia delivers some of the most stunning hiking trials and drives. The Cabot Trail is a road trip that provides you with the most wonderful and stunning colours. The best times to take this drive are the first week and second weeks in October. For our hikers, you can try the Skyline Trail, which is an easy route and takes about 2 hours to complete. And for a more challenging hike, you should try the Meat Cove Mountain Trail. This is a 1.2km hike that is very steep but the view from the top makes the journey well worth it.

Quebec

Lanaudere and Mauricie, Quebec are some of the best places to visit for the most unbelievable fall colours. The foliage explodes in this region, located between Montreal and Quebec City. This region is also home to 10,000 lakes and what seems like an endless landscape of forests and parks. There are quant towns dotted along the way, with shops and restaurants. You can take in the beauty of the location and enjoy some incredible food. If you’re wanting to get out and hike you can head over to La Mauricie National Park, which is 536 square km of woods and lakes.

British Columbia 

Okanagan BC, one of Canada’s wine regions. The Fall Okanagan Wine Festival is comprised of 165 events that take place between September 27th and October 7th. Festivals provide the best of BC’s wine harvest, plus the scenery is unbelievable. BC has a lot to offer besides wine, there are also trails to hike, wale watching and so much more.
